Neglected Woodlands

The local valley woods have been neglected over time.

Often this is due to poor road access, low financial value and invasive species like laurel, rhododendron and beech trees.

Whilst theses species can be attractive to look at, they can adversely affect the functioning of ecosystems by outcompeting the local native species.

Targeted interventions can lead to increased biodiversity and improved woodland health.

There are many different woodland management systems that can provide real improvements to your woodland.
